DESIGNATED PRIMARY MARKET-MAKER (DPM) ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

The DPM Administration Department is responsible for the development and support of the Modified Trading System as it applies to DPMs and e-DPMs, including the selection, oversight and removal of DPMs and e-DPMs. This includes approval of applicants, operational and performance reviews of DPMs and e-DPMs, transfer of interest transactions of DPMs and e-DPMs and conditional approvals or terminations to act as DPMs.

The Department is also responsible for supporting the processes of product allocation, reallocation, monitoring, swapping and delisting of option classes and other non-option products to trading crowds, DPMs and e-DPMs. The Department, on a regular basis, conducts market share reviews of new, reallocated or swapped option classes. The Department is responsible for locating or relocating specific product to achieve efficient utilization of trading space resources. The Department also supports the above functions for CBSX. The Department supports the Allocation Committee and its related subcommittees.
