MARKET QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT
The Market Quality Assurance Department (the "Department") is responsible for the development, implementation and refinement of programs that support electronic as well as open outcry trading (Market Maker and RMM) including the maintenance of the appointments of liquidity providers. The Department also administers programs related to the measurement and enforcement of market quality standards at the CBOE whether those standards apply to on-floor or off-floor trading. Members' performance is evaluated both on an individual basis and across market maker groups. In addition, the Department supports the Equity and Index Market Performance Committees and their related subcommittees.
