Can real-time data be displayed on an open website?
No, only through password-protected websites.
Is the data available through extranet providers?
Yes, most extranet providers will carry the data including SFTI, Radianz, Yipes, and Savvis.
How much bandwidth is necessary for this system?
50-100 MB.
How many levels of the book are included?
5.
How often is the book refreshed?
As updates occur (real-time) and every two minutes.
How will reporting for real-time users be done?
Using TCB Data.
How will Vendor Fees be invoiced?
Annually by MDX.
After I sign a contract, what happens next if I am using another vendor to receive the data?
MDX will contact the other vendor and instruct them to enable the data.
What are the hours of operation?
BDX will operate from 7 am - 4 pm CT.
What data is sent out pre-open?
Pre-open data will include the product definition, product state, and the book depth. Market orders will not be included.
Are re-transmissions available?
No. The database will be refreshed every two minutes.
What are traffic estimates?
Peak rate = 450,000 messages per second (5-second measurement).
All day messages = 2.75 billion.
Is the data pulsed or streaming?
Streaming multicast feed.
What is the backup to this system?
A warm slave will take over in the event of a failure.
Will trades be included?
No.
