MPPI (Online Appointment System) Instructions

1. In order to access the online appointment system, you need to already have completed and submitted the Online Appointment Access Request Form.

2. Once an ID has been set up, a member of our API group will contact you to install your RSA soft token based on the information provided in the Online Appointment Access Request Form.

3. When you are able to successfully login you will see all of your firm/acronym permit information at the top of the page. The count is the number of classes that constitute your appointment cost.

4. Your appointments will be listed below and contain the following columns of information:

a. Role Type - the role type of that specific acronym
b. Has Wait List - a 'Y' will display if that class currently has a wait list
c. Underlying Symbol - the underlying symbol
d. Tier - the tier that symbol can be found in
e. Asgn/Lmt - the number of quoters in the class/the total number allowed
f. Weight - the appointment cost weight of the underlying symbol
g. Delete - place a check mark in the box to delete that underlying symbol
h. Post/Station - the post/station where that underlying is located on the trading floor
i. Modified By - the name of the person that added the class
j. Modified Date - the date the class was added to your appointments

Each column can be sorted by clicking on the header of that column. The default number of underlying symbols that will show on one page is 100 so you will need to use the arrows at the top to page through if you have more than 100. This exact spreadsheet can be downloaded into Excel or a PDF file by clicking on the appropriate icon.

5. Adding Classes

a. In the symbol box, enter the underlying symbol for the product you would like to add - click Add Class.
b. The symbol and corresponding information should appear in the top row of your appointments. If you would like to add the class - click Save Changes. If you do not want to add the class - click Discard Changes.

6. Adding Classes that Have a Wait List

a. In the symbol box, enter the underlying symbol for the product you would like to add - click Add Class.
b. When there is a wait list you will see the following message: CQL Limit exceeded. Press 'Add To Wait List' to add ABC to the wait list when you save changes. You will need to click - Add to Wait list and then Save Changes.
c. If you have added yourself to the wait list, go to the top of the page and click on the Wait List Classes tab and you should see that you have been added to the wait list and your number.
d. If you wish, you can remove yourself from a wait list in the Wait List Classes tab but MQA will still maintain the filling of appointments from the wait list.

7. Deleting Classes

a. Find the underlying symbol in your list of appointments that you would like to delete and check the corresponding box in the delete column.
b. Click Save Changes and the class has been removed.

8. Deleting Classes that Have a Wait List

a. Find the underlying symbol in your list of appointments that you would like to delete and check the corresponding box in the delete column.
b. The following message should appear: Class "ABC" has a wait list. Once it is removed from your appointments, you will need to be added to the wait list in order to request an appointment in it again. Click OK to continue with the removal of "ABC".
c. Click Cancel and you will not remove this class or click Save Changes and the class will be removed.

9. Future Appointments (Rebalance)

a. During the months of January, April, July and October we perform our quarterly rebalance. If you click on the Future Appointments tab at any time other than during those four months you will not be able to do anything there.
b. In January, April, July and October you will be able to access your appointments and determine what your new appt. cost will be due to the re-weighting of the tiers. All changes should still be made in the Current Appointments tab and will automatically be saved to your future appointments as well.
c. The only time that you might make changes in the future tab only is, if your total permits are exceeded or you have a significant amount of appt. weight available, due to the rebalance.
d. If your future appt. weight is over your total number of permits, you have the ability to remove classes only from the future tab and continue to keep them in your current appointments to quote until the rebalance period is over.
e. If your future appt. weight is less than your current appt. weight, allowing you to add additional classes that you don't have the availability for in the current, you can add those classes in the future tab but will not be able to start quoting them until the 30 day rebalance period is over (the first day of the following month).
f. The most important thing to remember is that when the rebalance period is over - YOUR FUTURE APPOINTMENTS BECOME YOUR CURRENT

APPOINTMENTS. You need to make sure that, before the last day of the rebalance period, your future appointments are what you want them to be as of the open of the following trade day.
